INDIAN RECIPE: Garam Masala

Garam Masala is a traditional as well one of the most common item found in many of the house holds in South India. Garam Masala is ground dry and it is in powder form and can be stored for long.
Makes 450 gm.
Ingredients for Garam Masala:
- 90 gm cumin seeds
- 70 gm black peppercorns
- 75 gm black cardamom seeds
- 30 gm fennel seeds
- 40 gm green cardamoms
- 30 gm coriander seeds
- 20 gm cloves
- 20 x 2.5cm cinnamon sticks
- 20 gm mace powder
- 20 gm black cumin seeds
- 15 gm dry rose petals
- 15 gm bay leaves
- 15 gm ginger powder
Directions for making Garam Masala:
- Finely grind the following ingredients and store.
